
Pardee Homes has earned 14 MAME (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence) finalist honors, including Detached Community of the Year for Segovia at Ladera Ranch. The official awards competition of the Southern California Sales and Marketing Council (SMCSC), MAME annually draws more than 500 entries; winners will be announced April 1st at a gala staged at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
“Pardee Homes won the notice of our judges in an impressive range of category types,” said Peter Mayer, MAME judging chair. “This company demonstrates professional excellence in all aspects of quality marketing and merchandising, and we congratulate Pardee Homes on these finalist honors.”
Joyce Mason, Pardee Homes vice president of marketing, noted that the honors for Segovia reflect MAME judges’ consideration of overall marketing excellence. “Segovia is one of our most recent LIVINGSMART® communities, offering buyers exceptional energy efficiency and a broad array of additional sustainable features,” she said. “Our marketing program shows buyers that great style and energy savings can be part of one package, so we are very proud to be recognized for Segovia.”
In addition to its recognition for Detached Community of the Year for homes priced at $750,000 or more, Segovia was a finalist for architectural design for Plan One; for model complex landscaping and for model home interior design for Plan Two. Orange County neighborhoods by Pardee Homes that also won finalist notice included Arezzo at Turtle Ridge in Irvine, for model complex landscaping; Foxfield in Yorba Linda for model home interior design for Plan One and Encantada at Ladera Ranch for signage.
Pardee Homes’ San Diego projects honored in this year’s MAME competition included Portico Plan Four, noted for model home interior design and for architectural design. Architectural winners from San Diego also included Arabella Plan Two and Santa Rosa Plan One. Esmeralda was noted for its model complex landscape design.
Edgewater in Pardee Homes’ Inland Empire market is a finalist in model home interior design. Rounding out the company’s honors is a finalist nod for Website design.

Now celebrating its 31st year, the MAME Awards draw entries from Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties. Encompassing all facets of new-home marketing and merchandising, the competition covers product design, model complex landscaping, interior merchandising, sales office design, logo design, graphics, brochures, signage, advertisements, advertising campaigns, special promotions, and website presentations. Judges represent a cross-section of professional disciplines in the homebuilding industry, and come from throughout the United States.
